INSE RAIL has been awarded the technical assistance services contract for the preparation of the project and construction management of RENFE Viajeros’ Operations Management Centre (OMC) and offices in Ourense.
The project involves the relocation and expansion of the existing Operations Management Centre, which will be moved from the current premises at Ourense station to the ground floor of the office building at RENFE’s Maintenance Base. The new space will also accommodate the offices of Commercial Services and Public Service, allowing the facilities to be reorganised and adapted to RENFE Viajeros’ operational needs.
The contract includes the preparation of the basic and detailed design and subsequent technical assistance during construction management, including health and safety coordination and coordination of activities between companies.
The works will be carried out over a period of 27 months, with an initial four-month phase dedicated to the preparation of the project, followed by a second phase linked to the execution of the works and technical assistance during construction management.
With this new award, INSE RAIL continues to strengthen its collaboration with the Renfe Group and reinforce its presence in engineering and technical assistance projects related to railway facilities, participating in the different stages of the project, from its definition and design through to construction management and supervision.
