The Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) has approved the GENVIA (Generator of Information for Railway Signalling) R&D project, an initiative led by INSE RAIL aimed at developing a new methodology for the digitalisation and automated generation of railway signalling information. The project has been officially classified by the CDTI as a Research and Development (R&D) project.
GENVIA will enable the development of a data model-based system integrating railway infrastructure, signalling and operational information to automatically generate consistent technical representations, improve information traceability and strengthen validation processes throughout the design of railway installations.
With a duration of 18 months, the project will be carried out in collaboration with the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). It represents another important step in INSE RAIL’s innovation strategy, reinforcing the company’s commitment to digital solutions that enhance efficiency, quality and reliability in the development of railway projects.
