Due to the large number of trains in the Metro de Madrid Network, a systematic maintenance plan is required for proper operation of the line, which makes it possible to implement improvements that have an impact on the general and secondary track sections of the Network.

Inse Rail provides Metro de Madrid with the monitoring of railway traffic safety and quality control of the track maintenance work on lines 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in interconnection tunnels between the lines, as well as in depots and train yards.

The services that Inse Rail provides include topographical control work and track maintenance (track devices, track on ballast, slab track, rail track, thermite welding, tension release, installation of check rails, installation of check rails on slab track, installation of check rails on tracks on ballast, correction of rail gauge, correction of warping depending on the track system, installation and maintenance of friction modifications and other ordinary track maintenance work).
