INSE RAIL, in a Joint Venture (UTE) with TYLIN SPAIN, has been awarded a new contract by ADIF-Alta Velocidad to provide consultancy and technical assistance services for the supervision and monitoring of the electrification works associated with the track duplication of the Olmedo–Zamora railway section.
The project, with an execution period of 24 months, forms part of the track duplication works between Medina del Campo and Coreses. It includes electrification using a 2 × 25 kV power supply system, together with the associated electrical installations, including the Valdecarretas substation, autotransformer centres and remote control systems.
The INSE RAIL–TYLIN SPAIN Joint Venture will provide technical support to ADIF-Alta Velocidad through the supervision, inspection and quality control of the works, as well as monitoring their execution and ensuring compliance with the established technical and safety requirements.
With this award, INSE RAIL further strengthens its presence in the railway electrification sector and consolidates its experience in engineering, technical assistance and construction supervision services for strategic projects aimed at modernising Spain’s railway network.
