Inse Rail, in joint venture with the companies Ayesa and TPF Getinsa, is drafting the construction projects for ADIF to overhaul and upgrade the safety facilities of the rail network in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula.

The upgrading of traffic control and signalling systems is part of the modernisation of the signalling, train protection and telecommunications systems of the conventional national and metric gage networks. These actions are ultimately aimed at increasing the capacity and reliability of the railway network, to increase both passenger and freight traffic, improving the quality of service.

The works covered by the contract include the drafting of projects with different levels of detail, depending on the renovation and upgrade actions defined by ADIF, aimed at the safety installations, train protection systems, telecommunications (fixed and mobile), CTC, auxiliary detection systems, energy supply and associated civil works.
