Construction Engineering

Inse Rail, in joint venture, will provide the Project Management for the execution of the infrastructure of the airports in the southern region of Spain for Aena. The contract covers 48 months of work (2018-2022) for a total amount of 9.72 million euros. The Consortium will execute the courses of action defined by AENA in the airports of the southern region of the network, which include the 6 airports of Andalusia, the airports of Melilla and Badajoz and the Heliports in Algeciras and Ceuta. The contract also includes the expansions of the Seville and Malaga Costa del Sol airports.

Management service is being provided in three different areas:

1. SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT OF LDA AND PAA (PROJECT MANAGEMENT)

The Management Team from the Project Management Office (PMO) provides management, organization, coordination and supervision services for the development of all the activities to be carried out in airports. Likewise, it must perform the tasks of the required Technical Management Service of the Construction Project (s).

2. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL AND MONITORING

Organization of Technical Assistance for Construction Management and Control and Monitoring of the works. These services include those corresponding to the Construction Management (DO), the Safety and Health Coordination of the works (CSS), the Aeronautical Safety Audit Technician (TASA), the Environmental Coordination of the works (CM), the Works supervision (WS), as well as the engineering service for facilities in the work phase and specialized consulting reports.

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OF THE SPECIALIZED TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR THE AIRPORT

Technical support specialized in specific airport areas, operational safety, airport security, operations, airport services, technology, commercial management, BIM, AND directly responsible for achieving the objectives of Cost, Time and Quality of each LOA, establishing for this purpose a PGA that controls and establishes progress tracking of each action, also describing any incidents that may arise. Likewise, a PM will establish and study all the Interference that occurs between the different LDAs of each airport or with the LDAs.

This action consolidates Inse Rail’s focus on Project Management as well as on continuing to contribute added value in airport settings.
