The project has been officially classified by the CDTI as a&nbsp;<strong>Research and Development (R&amp;D)<\/strong>&nbsp;project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GENVIA will enable the development of a data model-based system integrating railway infrastructure, signalling and operational information to automatically generate consistent technical representations, improve information traceability and strengthen validation processes throughout the design of railway installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a duration of&nbsp;<strong>18 months<\/strong>, the project will be carried out in collaboration with the&nbsp;<strong>Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid)<\/strong>.
