<\/p><\/div>Spain’s Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility<\/strong>, through Adif<\/strong>, has announced the completion of the second phase of the new rail access to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport<\/strong>. This milestone paves the way for the operational testing phase prior to the commissioning of this strategic infrastructure for both metropolitan and airport mobility. With an investment of more than \u20ac400 million<\/strong>, the project will significantly improve the airport’s rail connection to Barcelona’s commuter rail network, promoting more sustainable and efficient mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout this major project, INSE RAIL<\/strong> has supported Adif<\/strong> during the key stages of the works, maintaining its involvement from the beginning of construction through to the commissioning of the new infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2021<\/strong>, Adif awarded the TYPSA\u2013INSE RAIL Joint Venture<\/strong> the consultancy and technical assistance contract for the supervision of the construction works of the new rail access to the airport terminal. The Joint Venture provided technical support throughout the execution of this highly complex infrastructure project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Subsequently, in 2024<\/strong>, Adif once again entrusted the TYPSA\u2013INSE RAIL Joint Venture<\/strong> with the consultancy and technical assistance contract for supervising the completion of the works and the activities required to bring the new rail access into service.
