class=\"av_textblock_section \">\n<div class=\"avia_textblock \">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inse Rail, in a joint venture with Typsa, is executing this Assistance contract, which includes the connection with the Barcelona-Vilanova conventional-gage line, as well as actions in the tunnel that has already been completed and in the stations in\u00a0 Terminals 1 and 2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new railway access will establish direct commuter rail services to the two airport terminals from Manresa and Ma\u00e7anet through Barcelona over the existing R2 and R4 lines, which will also provide access to the other commuter rail lines and the Barcelona metro network. It will also be able to house shuttle services between the airport terminals and the Madrid-Barcelona-French Border High Speed Line.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All this will make it possible to connect both terminals to Barcelona, with a travel time of approximately 19 minutes between the Sants station and the T1 terminal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project includes the installation of the track and superstructure needed to put the branch into service, with a total of 4.5 kilometers of double track, 3.4 kilometers of which are underground.
