These facilities are located on the border between Vallecas and Villaverde, where the Madrid-Andalusia and Madrid Levante high-speed lines converge with the Madrid-Barcelona-French Border high-speed line.\u00a0The conventional line that connects Villaverde Bajo and Santa Catalina with Vallecas also passes through this point, which means that it can be accessed by both international and Iberian gage tracks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">This workshop will provide first-line maintenance on the 22 international gage locomotives that Adif purchased from Stadler for examination, train rescue, snowplowing and infrastructure maintenance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">STUDY OF ALTERNATIVES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">First, a study of alternatives will be drafted and the maintenance shop construction project will then be prepared based on the selected alternative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The different options for the construction of an operational maintenance workshop for both 1435mm and 1668mm-gage units will be analyzed.
