line called the Haramain High Speed Rail (HHR) that will link the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. The contracts cover the platform, stations, superstructure and line operation. It will initially be equipped for circulation of 35 trains, with plans to expand the fleet to between 55 and 100 units in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The project also includes the construction and commissioning of two train maintenance workshops located in the cities of Medina and Mecca.
